Aloe Vera Treatment For Chapped Lips

Table of Contents

Aloe gel is a transparent jelly-like substance found in the inner part of the leaf of the aloe plant. Aloe vera contains vitamins A, C, and E, vitamin B12, folic acid and choline. It contains enzymes and minerals such as calcium, selenium, copper, manganese, chromium, potassium, zinc and sodium.

Benefits of Aloe vera

Aloe vera is a natural moisturizer and has anti-inflammatory properties. It will hydrate and moisturize your chapped lips. It contains hygroscopic properties meaning it can attract and hold moisture.
Aloe increases the elasticity of your skin and makes it more flexible through collagen and elastin repair. Thus it heals and softens your dry, chapped lips.

How to apply

Cut open a fresh aloe leaf. Remove the gel gently with the help of a knife. Massage the aloe gel onto your lips and leave it for 15 minutes. Rinse with warm water. If you do this on a regular basis, you will get stunning results.
