Welcome, Iโm Swarnambal John. ๐ฟ
Founder of Holistic Wellness Hub | Nutrition & Wellness Writer
Iโm so glad you found your way here.
Holistic Wellness Hub is my space for exploring nutrition, women’s wellness, intentional living, happiness, and everyday wellbeing โ with a gentle, practical approach to living well.
If you are a woman who feels tired of the pressure to do everything, optimize everything, and constantly become “better,” I hope you will feel at home here.
I believe wellness doesn’t have to be another demanding project on your to-do list.
Sometimes, it can be as simple as nourishing yourself well, creating a peaceful home, slowing down, getting outside, sharing a meal, enjoying a quiet cup of tea, or giving yourself permission to rest.
My approach to wellness writing is shaped by my academic background and my interest in making health and lifestyle information easier to understand and apply to everyday life.
BSc in Nutrition and Dietetics โ University of Madras
My academic foundation in nutrition, human metabolism, biochemistry, food science, and dietetics.
MSc in Home Management โ University of Madras
My studies gave me a broader perspective on nutrition, family wellbeing, lifestyle, home management, and creating healthier and more harmonious everyday environments.
UGC Lectureship Certification
A qualification that reflects my interest in teaching, learning, and communicating knowledge in a clear and accessible way.
Continuing Education
I have also undertaken continuing education relating to the health of women, children, and adolescents, including specialized learning through the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM).
I use this academic foundation, together with evidence-informed research, to explore wellness topics in a way that is warm, understandable, and practical.
My passion for everyday wellbeing also led me to create Sprout Health, a curated wellness shop inspired by intentional living, comfort, self-care, and quality of life.
I also run Sprout Health Studio, where I create printable journals, trackers, and thoughtful self-care resources designed to encourage reflection, organization, and mindful everyday routines.
Through these projects, I hope to create resources that are not about perfection or pressure, but about making small, meaningful changes that fit into real life.
Every purchase supports women and children in need.
It’s one small way I hope to turn compassion into action and make wellness feel a little more accessible and meaningful.
At Holistic Wellness Hub, you’ll find reflections, research-informed articles, recipes, and practical ideas around:
Nutrition and everyday nourishment
Women’s wellness
Intentional living
Happiness and wellbeing
Mindful living
Gentle lifestyle practices
Creating a calmer, more nourishing home
Family and everyday wellbeing
Meaningful traditions and cultures from around the world
I love exploring ideas such as Hygge, Lagom, Ubuntu, Sisu, Ahimsa, Wu Wei, Ma, and Dolce Far Niente โ different ways of looking at life that remind us that wellbeing isn’t always about doing more.
Sometimes, it is about doing less, but living it more fully.
I don’t believe you need another perfect morning routine, another impossible wellness checklist, or another reason to feel guilty about not doing enough.
I believe in:
Permission over Perfection.
Energy over Efficiency.
Presence over Productivity.
Wellness can be nourishing without being complicated.
It can be gentle without being passive.
And it can be meaningful without being perfect.
I created Holistic Wellness Hub as a quiet corner of the internet โ a place to pause, learn, reflect, and reconnect with the things that make life feel wholesome.
Maybe that means preparing a nourishing meal.
Maybe it’s stepping outside for a little fresh air.
Maybe it’s creating a cozy corner at home.
Maybe it’s putting your phone down and enjoying a warm cup of tea.
Or maybe it’s simply giving yourself permission to rest.
You don’t have to do everything today.
You don’t have to have everything figured out.
You can begin gently.
Thank you for being here.
Let’s grow together โ with grace, gratitude, and wholehearted living.
