The summer has reared its blazing head in many parts of the globe. During the summertime, it is wise to include foods that have plenty of moisture. Slogging in the kitchen during this time becomes quite hard. So try to include some easy summer salads
 
To do my part, I tried some really simple summer salads. They are super easy, and you can make it in a jiffy using the ingredients present in your home. Regarding the taste, I can guarantee you it is delicious. Because they have experimented, guess who the experimental rat was? It was my son because he acts invisibly if he sees any fruits or veggies.
 
So I made these salads and asked him to eat them. It was heartwarming to see him relishing these salads. Including salads frequently in your diet increases the antioxidant levels of vitamin C, vitamin E, lycopene, and alpha and beta carotene.

Easy Summer Salads

Apple Salad

Just slice apples, add salt, chili powder, lemon juice, and parsley.
 

Spinach Salad

This is a traditional Indian salad. Clean the greens, add pieces of onion, pea-sized tamarind, three pods of garlic, two green chilies in a thick bottomed pan, simmer it until it becomes cooked. It might take 2 to 3 minutes. Then mash it in a blender. Season it with mustard, dhals, and red chilies. Add salt according to your taste. It tastes good with rice.
 
 
 

Mango Salad

 
Slice mangoes, add lime juice, chili flakes, salt, and a dash of mint.
 
 

Olive salad

Wash olives, add salt, lemon juice, parsley, onion, and crushed garlic. Drizzle a teaspoon of olive oil. Add a little mint to pep up the taste. 
 
 
 

Plum salad

 
Cut the plums, add lemon juice, salt, and chili powder. Garnish with mint and parsley.
 

Grape salad

 
This tastes divine; add salt, lemon juice, chili powder, and garnish with coriander leaves. You can also add crushed fresh peppercorns.
