Be Warned! Air Pollution Can Affect Your Brain Structure

How clean is the air that you breathe? Dirty air can cause you great harm, so be on the lookout. The major thing that concerned me most was that, cities with the worst air pollution are Delhi, Patna, Gwalior, Raipur and Karachi. This report is according to WHO. The first four are Indian cities.

The top 10 countries with high amounts of air pollution are, Pakistan, Qatar, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Iran, Egypt, Mongolia, UAE, India and Bahrain. People, be careful, because dirty air causes severe health problems.

Air pollution

Researchers recently discovered that long term exposure to air pollution can cause damage to brain structures and reduce cognitive function. It increases the risk of stroke.

A teeny weeny particle which measures 2.5 millionth of a meter can change your life upside down. It can be emitted from power plants, factories, trucks, automobiles and burning of wood. These tiny particles travel into the lungs and increase the risk of heart attack and stroke. Not only that, they affect the brain structure and impairs cognitive function. It affects the young and old alike. Earlier studies have pointed that air pollution may affect the obesity related hormone.

So grow more plants and trees in the places where you live, and you can also make it a community activity. How is that?
